We and our 3 kids (6, 5 and 1 year old) spent 2 great weeks at Barley Cottage. We did almost everything- hiking to Branscombe along the cliff ( 5 stars), hiking to Dartmoor, bathing at Sandy Bay, Charmouth and Lyme Regis, visiting Powderham Castle ( perfect with kids this age). We did an astonishingly beautiful 3 hour hike from Sidbury to Fire Beacon Hill. We loved returning to the cottage every evening.

Fate brought us to Beer- it’s usually Branscombe. Great location away from the bustle but just down the hill to the action. Well-equipped and tastefully furnished. Will definitely return.
