A little further on to Charmouth with Heritage Coast Centre offering fossil hunting walks, rock pool rambles and special marine events.
The small thriving market town of Axminster, famous for the Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall 'River Cottage Canteen', shops and weekly street market is a 15 minute drive. Ideally positioned to attend the River Cottage courses, weekend dining and special events at Park Farm, only a 15 minute drive.

Situated right in the centre of Seaton, a stone's throw from the seafront, shops, cafés and restaurants, this is five star accommodation. The Counting House building was the former HSBC Bank and has been tastefully converted into three holiday lets. Bed linen and towels are provided, the bathroom is luxurious and the kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher and washer dryer. There is a glimpse of the sea through the lounge window which over looks a supermarket car park. Seagulls like to nest on nearby roofs and are very noisy night and day. Also, Grove Night Club is close by but this is only open on Friday and Saturday nights. The apartment windows keep out the noise so it wasn't a problem. We had a fabulous holiday in East Devon and have no complaints. (Via Trip advisor) August 2014. PLEASE NOTE THE NIGHT CLUB HAS NOW CLOSED DOWN.
