Perfect Holiday Retreat! Aug 2015, Midslady
From start to finish, the service we received from Andrea, owner of this fabulous property, was exemplary. The booking process and arrival/departure arrangements worked like a dream! We were met at The Dairy by Andrea, who showed us around the cottage and gave us information about local eateries, places of interest and suitable beaches for our excited 4 and 5 year olds! There was a fabulous welcome pack awaiting us, which included beautiful home made scones, jam, clotted cream, milk, eggs, fresh bread and a bottle of wine. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the attention to detail was second to none; it was extremely well equipped and everything had been thought of and provided for. The cottage was beautifully decorated and the furnishings and fixtures and fittings were of a very high quality. The beds were very comfortable; we all slept extremely well, which is usually a rarity on holidays! There was an abundance of wardrobe and storage space in the bedrooms, which was fantastic! The Dairy was perfectly positioned for us to explore much of the coastline and beautiful villages, towns and places of interest. Its courtyard setting was perfect; it was lovely and peaceful and safe for the children. We absolutely adored this cottage and can't wait to return; it was perfect!
'Delightful cottage, with great attention to detail for a lovely stay' Jul 2015 Redshrimp
Greeted with home made scones jam cream eggs bread wine & milk,Kitchen table set with scented roses. Great thought has been give to providing every possible need for a stay. White House towels and linens, even down to cotton buds&tissues. Patio has a nice table and seating. Perhaps one small addition would be a couple of loungers for the deck area to spend some lazy time.
“A peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2014 'Our last minute booking surpassed all expectations. As dog owners we are not used to such high quality holiday accommodation, the Dairy was spotlessly clean and every last detail had been thought of, from the generous welcome pack of local farm shop produce and a lovely bottle of wine to the toiletries in the two bathrooms. The cottage is well equipped with all major appliances, wifi and even an ipod dock, which was much appreciated as we didn't have a phone charger. Even dogs were catered for with their own towel. Our only real requirement of our stay was a decent pub within close proximity, we were spoilt for choice and the owner even provided contact details for her recommended choices as well as the number of a pet friendly taxi service. The location was also perfect for exploring the Dorset/Devon coast, you could easily walk to the coast at Seaton if you were so inclined but it was a 5 minute trip in the car. Lyme Regis and Sidmouth were also only a short car journey away, with many little bays and villages worth a visit along the way. We will definitely return to this lovely place.'
'Fantastic accommodation, 4 star plus.Everything we could want in a very well equipped cottage. The welcome pack was exceptionally good. The bonus was weather, brilliant for whole week.' Mr and Mrs E, Staffordshire, September 2014

Wonderful week, fabulous cottage, great location – what more can we say?!!Really appreciated the welcome pack, thank you so much for everything. Mr and Mrs V, Cornwall, June 2014
'A gem of a place with a wonderful atmosphere. We arrived frazzled from work and within hours we’d settled in and relaxed. Amazing standard of everything! Thank you for creating an excellent retreat.' Mr and Mrs G, Gloucestershire, June 2014
'Thank you for this perfect place to stay, it fulfilled all our needs. It was for us a perfect place to discover Devon, a week was a bit short to discover everything, so we hope to come back in the future. Many thanks.' Mr and Mrs Almelo, Netherlands, May 2014
'The Dairy is a delightful little cottage which has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard, it is equipped with everything that you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. It is situated in a quiet courtyard and just a short drive from the town and beach at Seaton. I had a warm welcome from the owner, Andrea, who met me at the property to hand over the keys and show me around. There was a fantastic welcome pack which included bread, milk, butter, scones, clotted cream, strawberry conserve and a bottle of wine! I will definitely be returning.' Aileen B, Gillingham, April 2014.
