"The cottage is great and well equipped. A base for visiting our favourite fossil beach but exploring so much more. We found ourselves walking to Beer - walking to the other end of the village to the Fountains Head, a great old village pub several times - it's downhill on the way back! A wonderful escape - very comfortable - thank you." Teresa, Ray, Dan and Pat from Swindon 23.08.14 to 30.08.14
"A lovely comfortable cottage in a lovely spot. We had a lovely time here on our return to Branscombe after 9 years. Nothing had changed much. The only drawback was the aggressive neighbour over the parking but kindly the Masons Arms allowed us to park in their car park. Cathy and Peter Piercy with Pamela and Antonio Donnley from High Wycombe 02.08.14 to 09.08.14
"We had a lovely holiday here. The weather was great so we spent a lot of time in the sea. The beach is unspoilt and beautiful. We enjoyed having live music from Beer festival next door in the pub and having lovely walks along the coast. Never had to go in the car! Improvement could be that the bathroom had a lock on the door and some cleaning fluid would be helpful in the kitchen so we can keep it clean. Other than that we had a lovely time and wish to come back soon." Mikhela, Johanna and Gauri Saale with Deb and Alice Sharpe from Solihull, West Midlands 19.07.14 to 23.07.14 Note from owners: A lock is now fitted to the bathroom door. We do not supply cleaning materials other than washing up liquid for health and safety reasons.
"A perfect cottage in the heart of a perfect town. The walk to the beach, was a wonderful way to start each day, scenery to set the heart pounding. Also so many places to visit, in truth a week is not long enough in this charming cottage, set in a beautiful county, a timeless 7 days, with echoes of yesteryear, yes we did really enjoy our stay." Alan and Jean Russell from Wolseys Farm, Duton Hill, Essex 14.06.14 to 21.06.14
"A lovely cottage, well equipped, cosy and warm.. Ricky the owner was very helpful and obliging when we encountered some problems. We wouldn't hesitate to come back as we love Branscombe and have been coming for well over 20 years." Sarah, Robert, Emily and Tom Abrahams from Molesey, Surrey 12.04.14 to 19.04.14
"Lovely stay in this most stunning cottage. Weather mixed but a few sunny, warm days. Back to the usual haunts in this beautiful part of Devon. Judith, Mark and Henry Burfitt from Salisbury. 29.03.14 to 05.04.14"
A longer visit this time. Welcomed by St Jude's winds but the cottage barely noticed. The two pubs still compete for our favour, your choice is fashionable or down to earth. Great visit for us Californians still so many treats to sample and different beer to drink. Will have to visit again and continue.... P.S. Axminster farmers market - Thursday morning is a must!" Jemma and Maurice Heagren from Shell Beach, CA - USA 26.10.13 to 12.11.13
