Had a superb week. Accommodation spotless & quality fittings, & location perfect for exploring East Devon, West Dorset & South Somerset. Warm welcome from Hazel & Jack, & especially the dogs! Ian & Toni
Had a lovely 5 days exploring the area - there's lots to do and the glorious weather certainly helped! The Cittage is cosy and perfect for two, it's exactly what we wanted. Thanks to Hazel and Jack for being so welcoming and giving us great advice on where to go when we had car problems! We've had a great time! The Cavanagh party July 2012.
The cottage is brilliantly located for the Jurassic Coast and River Cottage Canteen is located about 15 minutes away. A few minutes walk away (one across the road - well worth a visit) were places to eat. When we stayed, the Jubilee week, the weather was dreadful but we still had a fab time which just goes to show how nice this place is.
Owners were friendly and helpful. this is a little gem of a place and a great hideaway. Once people get to know about it, it will be booked solid. Glad we got there 1st!'
Mr and Mrs Cross, June 2012.
We received a very warm welcome from Hazel, and the Cottage far exceeded our expectations. We have had a wonderful week here, with trips to Beer, Glastonbury, Exeter, Golden Cap and Lyme Regis. It was always lovely to come back each evening to the lovely comfortable Cottage. The interior and furnishings, in particular the kitchen, are exceptional. Thanks alot Hazel and Jack for the comfortable stay in your cottage. It was nice to meet you! You are very very friendly. Andrea & Gottfried Brandenburg, Germany, July 2012.
'Had great week exploring the area. Lots of good things to do. the cottage is perfect for couples and Jack and Hazel (the owners of the cottage) are really nice people. Thanks a lot. Ian Eaglestone and Sarah Barbes. September 2012.
