Charming superb barn conversion tucked away in a quiet courtyard setting in the centre of the pretty East Devon village of Colyford , Devon between the coastal towns of Sidmouth and Lyme Regis. The village boasts an excellent PO/general stores/local butchers, two inns, restaurant and local Nature Reserve. A 10-minute walk to the picturesque River Coly and the 'Stop' for the famous open top tram running along the stunning Axe Valley to Seaton in one direction and Colyton in the other.
The popular small seaside town of Seaton with superb beach, Esplanade, harbour, shops and golf course are all a 5-minute drive away. Spectacular cliff top walks on this Jurassic Coast to the pretty fishing village of Beer and onto Branscombe, cared for by the National Trust.
The coastal town of Lyme Regis with its famous Cobb of the French Lieutenants fame, interesting individual specialist shops and cinema is a 10 minute drive over the Devon border into Dorset.
The small thriving market town of Axminster, famous for the Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall 'River Cottage Canteen', shops and weekly street market is a 10-minute drive away. A unique, most convenient and relaxing location for exploring the delights of this pretty area.

26 August – 2nd September 2017 What a lovely place to stay. Everything you could possibly need is here and more. The cottage is clean and comfortable and a credit to Tamara who really cares about her accommodation. We found the location ideal for travelling either way along the coast and have been lucky enough to have good weather. Lots of wildlife. 5 stars !!!!! Sandra and Dave Cooper
19-25th August 2017 We have loved our time in East Devon, a part of the country we haven’t visited before. Lots of helpful tips from Tamara. Loved Beer, Lyme Regis, Pecorama, the trams and Sidmouth. So clean, peaceful, would return for a summer holiday to really use the garden. Thank you Tamara for making us feel so welcome and the lovely homemade scones (cream tea).
