Great location and comfortable cottage. Some minor issues- light in the lounge not working. Andy swapped bulb from stairs, fridge ice box dripping as very iced up so we had to defrost it. Small pot of handsoap would have been good.
Lovely comfortable bed and bedding. Very peaceful. Good base for walking using map kindly left by previous guests. Old Bakery team room is a must.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful spot, ideal for walks and the dogs. Could do with a comfy chair in addition to the sofa. Couldn’t reset the cooker clock after having to change a fuse. A lovely week in Branscombe and great food and drinks in both the Masons Arms and Fountain Head. Be back soon.

Wanted a relaxing break and that is exactly what we got. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Bertie our dog loved playing in the garden and had to entice him with treats to come back in.
Lovely cream tea at the old Bakery. Would love to return.

We have very much enjoyed our stay here this year. It has been refreshing to stay somewhere so peaceful and without a single seagull to spoil it. We enjoyed the walk into Branscombe and to the beach. We visited Blackbury Castle for the first time despite staying here previously. The addition of WiFi has been very useful.

Most of what needs to be aid has been said by other guests. Very good self catering cottage- especially so far away from home. Branscombe and the Devon coast are great to explore. We have left some information maps and brochures for other guests to use to make their stay more enjoyable. The lack of local information is an item that needs to be addressed.

Thank heaven places such as Branscombe still exist. The Forge, Mill and the Old Bakery and Masons Arms all add up to make it special. The coastal walks, the Tramway at Seaton, the river walk up the Otter to Otterton are all a delight. Scots Cottage is that rare thing, a great place to stay for just 2 people.

We have had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful and we especially enjoyed the garden- which we know our dog Harmony will miss. We visited the beach just 15 minutes away most days, which was fab as we had the weather. Beer is also a lovely day out – well worth a visit.
We will hope fully be back soon. Thank you
'We have enjoyed our stay at Scots Cottage - be is very comfortable! It is a great area to work and cycle. Love the beach at Branscombe. The Masons Arms does lovely food, where we ate most evenings. Thank you!' Janet & Tony May, Welwyn, Herts, 23rd August, 2014.
'Our second stay in the cottage has been just as good as the first, this time last year. We would certainly like to stay here again.' Thank you for the welcoming gift - lovely touch!' Peter and Margaret (Canterbury), 9th August, 2014.
Thank you - we have had another lovely week in your cottage. Particularly enjoyed The Anchor in Beer and Otterton Mill near Budleigh Salterton. Loved sitting in the cottage garden in the evenings!' Sean & Eileen Pearce, Hertford, 26th July 2014.
'We had a lovely week in Devon. The cottage is really well appointed, especially love the light and airy bedroom and gardens. The peace and tranquillity coupled with good weather was just what we needed. We'd recommend Lyme Regis and Exmouth for day trips. Walked Coast path to Sidmouth (bus back) and Beer, hard work but great views. Branscombe very nice too especially Fountains Head at the far end - Good food and ales. all beaches fab.' Thank you for the welcome scrumpy cider gift.' Keith and Maria, Ramsgate, Kent, 12th July 2014
A very enjoyable stay in a lovely cottage and area. Enjoyed many local walks - Beer and Seaton, and also used the local bus to Sidmouth and walked back via the coast path - hard work! Weather good and sat in the wonderful garden every day. Meals at both the Masons and Fountain Head Inn - the latter very dog friendly. Thanks for the cider. The Kellys, Leeds, 19th June 2014.
Another wonderful stay at your cottage. We are all sad to leave including 'Reet' our dog'. Counting the days till our visit in September.' John & Audry Edwards. 17th May 2014.
