24-30 April 2017Thank you. A lovely home from home and everything we could possibly need and much more. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. I will just have to come back again. The welcome pack is very useful and the little extras i.e. milk in fridge, flowers, tea and coffee made us feel very welcome. Many many thanks. See you again. Paul and Kirstie – Bucks

Thank you.Weather for April has been excellent, making our trips out and sight- seeing perfect. A very lovely weeks break to re-charge the batteries and we would recommend to anyone. 10- 21st September 2016 Thank you for a wonderful stay at Upside Down Cottage, this being our second time. Only 1 bad days weather, which is not bad for September. Colyton and East Devon is such a beautiful place it would not matter what the weather was doing. Our first night was noisy but fine due to it being Colyton carnival. To all the people who live here in Devon embrace what you have here. Please don’t take it for granted.Devon maybe is should be call “heaven”.David, Maggie and Jess – Warwickshire

"A delightful cottage thank you. Very well appointed. It has been a very good 'bolt hole' for us in between houses - we have had a good rest!! Thanks for your welcome and also wine, flowers and milk etc - very much appreciated. PS Thanks for the mid term 'refresh'." (C & R T, Somerset) 2015
"Lovely welcoming cottage - can't say how much we needed that bottle of wine after the journey down and finding milk, tea, biscuits etc in situ as well was the icing on the cake! Such a fantastic, relaxing week which went far too quickly - wish we could stay a bit longer. Finding such a lovely place that allows dogs too is a surprise, so thank you." (H,N &H the spaniel.) 2015
"Delightful cottage in a lovely little town. The whole area provides an atmosphere of relaxation and we feel quite restored after our week's stay." (D & H, Southampton - 13th June 2015)
"Thank you so much for our goodies. It has brought a lot of fond memories. As a child I lived on a farm. We had pigs, chickens, cows. We collected eggs and baked cakes. I love to sit and appreciate that beautiful view, so green, birds singing and that lovely peacefulness. It will be a shame to leave. We had a lovely meal at the Kingfisher pub, lovely fish and chips and a lovely train ride. Thank you so much." (Love and thanks R & S, Worthing - 23rd May 2015)
"Thank you for our goodies. We have had a very happy stay in a lovely home in a beautiful village." (D. J & R - 2nd May 2015)
"We had an amazing time here at "Upside Down Cottage". we will defo return as well as telling our friends, Trip Adviser and Milkbere how much we loved this place. 30 minutes from Exeter Airport, 45 minutes from Dublin, 1 1/2 hours from Bristol airport, only a hop, skip and a small jump back here.
We walked walks 1, 2 and 15 in "Circular Walks of Devon" book (on book shelf top). They are great walks and Paddy and Sue's notes were great. The walks should be well suited to all weather and fair weather walkers. Seaton to Lyme Regis alternative walk is brilliant. Colyton - Kingfisher defo great food, drinks and atmosphere..........White Hart Inn very nice food and atmosphere. Axminster - River Cottage Canteen great Broadchurch fans - West Bay is 30 minutes drive or on bus Again thanks for making us very welcome and peace and tranquillity of cottage. See you soon.
