BEACHES

SEATON Seaton has been awarded with an “ECAMS” Seaside Award. This award takes into account among other things, water quality, safety, facilities and cleanliness. South facing, gently sloping pebble mile long beach.
BEER South facing, sloping pebble beach, in sheltered cove.
BRANSCOMBE South facing, pebble beach sloping gently,
uncommercialised.
SIDMOUTH Town beach, south facing sand/pebble beach, fairly well sheltered. Jacobs Ladder, sheltered south facing bay of sand/pebble approx 1 mile long. Large expanse of sand as tide recedes.
EXMOUTH South facing, 2 miles of flat sandy beach.
LYME REGIS Main front beach, sand and pebbles. Monmouth Beach, pebbles.
